INTRODUCTION

The company is called UPAG which stands for Urban Pure Agriculture.

 

The aim here is to grow organic/pure micro greens, fruits and vegetables in commercial distributions centers throughout the US. At these centers people can walk in and see this produce being grown in the purest of conditions and actually purchase their produce at very competitive prices.
 

Instead of traditional farming that is done in mainly rural areas by purchasing land and cultivating the land in the traditional sense with soil/fertilizers and all of the usual challenges that go along with traditional farming, this company will be leasing land in urban areas and using the technology of vertical farming under controlled conditions that produce the purest produce without the need for soil/fertilizers etc , they will produce quality produce for sale.
 

We help provide the funding to make this happen, the company grows and sells the produce and we retain 45% of the returns from the actual sales while the company retains 55%.

This opportunity is being brought to us by a family that possesses 5 generations of traditional farming experience out of Michigan. Their desire is to take this online for a greater reach. They are very experienced farmers but are not online marketers .
 

What initially confused me was that this opportunity originally seemed like some sort of ICO/ITO setup which I am not into but it interested me as I liked the concept of the urban organic farming as I perceive this to be something that is in demand, even where I live in the Caribbean.

They were originally going to use a token system /ITO ( Initial Token Offering ) to try to raise 12 million dollars to fund this entire project.
 

There is merit in adopting an option like this BUT because of the sideways movement in the crypto market for the entire year , they opted to put this option on pause.
 

Because this is still and extremely viable business they didn’t want to wait on the markets to change so they decided to propose an opportunity for us to help fund this opportunity while sharing in the profits of the produce sales.
 

This now makes a lot more sense to me as the ITO side of things threw me initially but the opportunity that is now before us is extremely good, hence me writing to you to consider.

A unit comprises of 120 micro green plants plus 120 fruit and vegetable plants that are stacked vertically above the micro greens.
 

They have already leased and are finishing set up the first distribution center in Grand Rapids Michigan and will grow the produce in each unit for us and s.ell the produce at the center where we will derive 45% of the profits and the company will retain 55%.

HOW THIS WORKS

1. You rent hydroponic farm units in UPAG's first commercial distribution center;

 

2.  UPAG grows and s.ell the produce your units grow;

 

3. UPAG sends you 45% of the net profits every 23-25 days. 

 

Now this is a real business so let’s understand how the harvesting works.

 

There are 4 seasons for the year and within each season there are three harvests that are done.


You are therefore paid 12 times for the year.
 

Now a unit or part unit comprises of a certain number of micro green plants as well as certain fruits and vegetables that are grown to maturity vertically above the micro greens.
 

The micro greens grow a lot quicker than the fruits and vegetables so these can be harvested and s.old within a month so this is why you get 3 payments from these micro greens.
 

Now the fruits and vegetables take longer to reach the point of harvesting and then they need to be s.old so all of this is done every 3 months.
 

In essence then, for the three months of each season, we receive the profits from micro green sales and then at the end of the  third month of each season we receive profits from the fruit/vegetable sales as well. This is simply repeated for the next season and so on.

 

After 1 year, you can re-purchase a new unit if you like and start all over again.

Once you purchase a unit at a certain cost, you lock in this cost for the next 3 years so that you can buy additional units whenever you like. 

THE MATH

FULL UNIT

You are p.aid $470 for the first 3 harvests of each season( from micro green sales) + $1,370 from the final harvest of each season ( from the fruit/vegetable sales ).

 

This gives a total of $2780 per season and because there are 4 seasons in the year this equates to $11,120 for the year.

 

So right now you can spend $2400 and turn this into $11,120 .

This equates to a 456% profit for the month or 38% clear profit if considered monthly. 

 

Or you can earn up to $380 for every plat you rent. For $100 per Plat, or less if you rent more than 10, you turn each plat into at least $380.

All of this from what appears to be a proper and viable offline business
